REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS

Planning, Zoning, and ETJ Boards

The Town of Canton is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Planning Board, Zoning Board, and Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) Board.

These volunteer boards play an important role in helping guide the future growth, development, and planning of the Town of Canton and its surrounding areas.

Individuals interested in serving are encouraged to submit an application for consideration. Applicants should be willing to attend scheduled meetings, participate in discussions, and contribute their knowledge, experience, and perspective to the Town’s planning and development process.

Applications will be accepted through October 19, 2026.

Applications may be obtained from the Town of Canton Town Hall or through the Town’s website and should be submitted to the Town Manager’s Office by the deadline at 85 Summer Street, Canton, NC 28716 or lstinnett@cantonnc.com.
