HOURS OF OPERATION
IMPORTANT: The Rink will be open 7 days a week (December – March) to all skaters that have their own skates. Those who need to rent skates need to check the skate rental days and times below.

Join us in Sorrells Street Park for some wintertime fun at “The Rink” in Canton! This ice rink was gifted to the Town of Canton by Cruso Endowment in partnership with the Canton Merchant Partnership and is made of synthetic ice, providing a similar experience to skating on real ice.
NEED TO RENT ICE SKATES?
Skates are available to rent during these days and hours:
FRI – 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
SAT – 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
SUN – 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
* During Christmas Break from school rental hours will be 11 am – 7 pm daily.
SKATE SIZES AVAILABLE
We offer youth and adult size skates. Youth skates are adjustable to fit with sizes 6-9, 10-13, and 1-4. Adult sizes are 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12. *
* Some sizes may not be available during high demand times.
COST
HAYWOOD COUNTY RESIDENTS
Ice skate rentals are FREE for all Haywood County residents with a valid ID.
NON-HAYWOOD COUNTY RESIDENTS
The ice skate rental fee for Non-Haywood County residents is one of the following options:
- Pay $5 -or-
- Bring a canned food item per person (expired food not accepted) -or-
- Bring a receipt of purchase from a downtown Canton business from that same day
RINK RULES
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at the rink AT ALL TIMES!
- Socks required to rent skates.
- No street shoes on the ice.
- Skate at your own risk.
- All Town of Canton Park Ordinances and Rules apply and are listed onsite.
CONCESSIONS
Concessions vary depending on non-profits working The Rink. Schedule varies.
RESTROOMS
Porta potties on site.
