Help Us Create Our First Land Use Plan
The Town of Canton is seeking input from its residents and visitors to assist in the creation of the Town’s first Land Use Plan. The Land Use Plan is a document that will guide the community’s growth over the next 10 – 15 years. We are asking for your thoughts on the conditions of Canton today, and your vision for the Town’s future opportunities.
Per state requirements, a plan must be adopted by July 1st, 2022. Following the adoption of the Land Use Plan, the second phase of the project will expand upon this plan to address additional elements of the Town expanding on parks, utilities, economic development, community character and more. This second phase will be called the Comprehensive Plan.
