Charters of Freedom Dedication Ceremony

Canton Area Historical Museum | 36 Park Street, Canton

ALL ARE INVITED AND WELCOME!

We are excited to announce that Canton was selected to be the Haywood County site for Foundation Forward’s Charters of Freedom. These settings at the Canton Area Historical Museum will display replicas of the Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Civil Rights Amendments. We hope to see you at the dedication!

Be a Part of History and Get a Donation Paver

Honor a veteran, loved one, family, organization, or simply yourself by getting a personalized brick or granite paver installed at the Canton Charters of Freedom Setting located at the Canton Area Historical Museum. * If you would like your paver to be included in the ceremony the deadline to order is April 30, 2024.

About Foundation Forward

Foundation Forward is an educational, nonprofit organization that builds Charters of Freedom settings in communities across the country. These settings are replicas of the displays of our Founding Documents as in the National Archives, Washington D.C. The Charters of Freedom is an incredibly patriotic way to leave a long-lasting legacy for family, church, business, civic organizations, and veterans.
