Wanda Lurvey

We are saddened to report that our beloved employee, Wanda Lurvey, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026.

Wanda was a dedicated and fierce employee who took great pride in her work as Deputy Tax Collector and Payroll Clerk. She handled payroll with ease and was highly skilled and knowledgeable in both of her roles. Her dedication to the Town and the community was deeply appreciated, and she will be greatly missed by her colleagues, friends, and many throughout the community.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, at 2:00 p.m., followed by a celebration of life at 3:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Wanda’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working with her during this difficult time.
