Helene Flood Info: Important Debris Cleanup Information

Helene debris cleanup efforts in the Town of Canton will begin as early as tomorrow, Monday, October 14, 2024.
Please follow the guidelines below for proper placement:
.
🔹 Place all debris on the right of way along the road following the guidelines for the pile categories.
🔹 Keep debris clear of fire hydrants, fences, mailboxes, and other obstacles to ensure safe and efficient removal.
.
This will be the first pass of debris removal, and crews will make additional passes at a later date. To help us keep the process moving efficiently, please ensure your debris is out and ready for pickup by the time crews arrive in the morning.
.
For FEMA documentation purposes, it is critical to document your debris before it is removed. Take photos and keep detailed records of the damage and debris on your property. Thank you for your cooperation.
