Burn Ban lifted for Haywood County December 8, 2021

Recent rain and decreased fire danger have made it possible to lift restrictions on open burning for the most of the state, including Haywood County effective at noon Wednesday, December 8, 2021.  Burning restrictions will remain in place for Buncombe, Henderson, Madison, McDowell, Transylvania, and several other counties until further notice.
